Orders

Can I also place an order by phone?

We are happy to accept orders via email and through our online shop.

Can I order my Baumkuchen by appointment?

Yes, that's usually possible. Simply enter the desired delivery date in the comments field on the shopping cart page. We'll then schedule your order to arrive around that date.

When will I receive my order?

As soon as an order leaves our factory, we send an email with the shipment information.

How do I cancel my order?

If the order has not yet been shipped, an email or a phone call is sufficient to cancel the order.

What should I do if my package arrives broken?

If the Baumkuchen arrives broken, that is of course anything but nice.

If the package is visibly damaged upon delivery, please report it to the delivery person immediately. If you only notice the damage upon unpacking, please leave the item in its original packaging and take photos of the damage. We will contact you immediately and find a quick, straightforward solution!

Why is the best-before date of my products so short?

Since we do not use artificial preservatives, the shelf life of our Baumkuchen is limited.

It's also important to note that our Baumkuchen are often still edible afterward. The rule of thumb is: look, smell, and taste.

Why is my Baumkuchen moldy?

Since we work without artificial preservatives, the shelf life of our Baumkuchen is always limited.

Occasionally, a Baumkuchen (tree cake) may show signs of mold before its expiration date. This is obviously annoying and shouldn't normally happen.

Please email us a photo of the best-before date label and the affected Baumkuchen, and we'll work together to find a solution. Please note that this only applies to orders placed through our online shop. If you purchased the Baumkuchen elsewhere, please contact the seller first.

Do you also ship to parcel stations and post offices?

Yes, shipping to parcel stations and post offices is also possible. Please make sure you use the correct postal code and the number of the parcel station/post office.

Which provider do you use to ship your products?

We ship our Baumkuchen nationally and internationally in a climate-neutral manner with DHL GoGreen.

Do you ship your products climate-neutrally?

Yes, every parcel is delivered to its destination in a climate-neutral manner with DHL GoGreen.

Can I split my order into multiple delivery addresses?

Unfortunately, this isn't technically possible for us yet. Please create a separate order for each delivery address.

What filling material do you use for shipping?

Shipping our Baumkuchen is always a balancing act. On the one hand, we want every Baumkuchen to arrive safely. On the other hand, we also want to keep the amount of filling within limits.

We wrap each of our Baumkuchen in crackling foil to ensure it's as shock-resistant as possible during shipping. We also use paper chips to fill any gaps, which can be disposed of in the normal recycling bin.

Do you produce Baumkuchen all year round?

Yes! For us, Baumkuchen isn't just a Christmas treat. We've made it our mission to establish Baumkuchen as a year-round delicacy. Accordingly, we bake Baumkuchen year-round and are constantly experimenting with new creations.

Do you do real handcraft?

Yes! Unlike our competitors, we don't use machines and bake each Baumkuchen by hand using our Baumkuchen machines. This means that a baker is always baking the Baumkuchen from the first to the last ring, shaping the signature rings.

We also subsequently coat the Baumkuchen with chocolate and package it entirely by hand.
