This legendary Baumkuchen was baked for the first time by Maria Groch in 1819. Since then, we’ve followed the original recipe and we bake our original Baumkuchen strictly according to her instructions. Then we cover it with fondant, a delicate icing with a touch of finely grated lemon peel.
This Baumkuchen is identical to our Baumkuchen ORIGINAL 1819, but will be shipped with a special – Cottbus embossed – packaging.
