Focus on regionality and honest ingredients

In order to be able to guarantee the high quality of our Baumkuchen, we only use high-quality raw materials. When it comes to the raw materials, quality, regionality and environmental aspects are all equally important to us. Not every ingredient can be environmentally flawless, but we avoid palm oil and buy flours, eggs and dairy products from regional manufacturers whenever possible.

The finest Belgian chocolate

Ok, when it comes to chocolate, we have to step outside our region for a moment. For our Baumkuchen we only use high-quality Belgian chocolate, without any palm oil. Among connoisseurs and experts, the chocolate we use is known all over the world for its full and sweetish taste and intense crispness after hardening.

No artificial flavours or preservatives

Artificial flavours and preservatives are prohibited in our manufactory. Although this limits the shelf life of our products, it’s more important for us to produce our products as naturally as possible and to set ourselves apart even more from the industrial products of other manufacturers.

For our Baumkuchen we use only the best raw materials. But since our products are food products, the quality and sensory harmlessness of our Baumkuchen and especially the wellbeing of our Baumkuchen lovers is very important to us.

For this reason, we have our Baumkuchen products checked for sensory harmlessness at regular intervals in a food laboratory, so that our Baumkuchen can be enjoyed as much as possible.
